Color (Standard)

Hair coloring or hair dyeing, is the practice of changing the hair color. The main reasons for this are cosmetic: to cover gray or white hair, to change to a color regarded as more fashionable or desirable, or to restore the original hair color after it has been discolored by hairdressing processes.

Shadow/ Smudge Root

Root shadowing is a hair color technique in which a darker shade is applied directly to the roots giving a soft, seamless contrast. It's a great way to refresh your look, giving your hair color depth and dimension.

Color Correction

A color correction is when a stylist needs to correct the undesirable results of a previous hair coloring, or do an extreme change on existing color. While some color corrections can be done in a step or two, others can be very complex and require several different visits.

Color Removal

An artificial hair color extractor, also called hair dye remover or hair color stripper, is very effective and one of the least harmful ways to remove artificial color pigments from your hair. A color stripper is specially designed to remove oxidative (permanent) dye from the hair.

Bleach Bath

Bleach bathing is a softer, step by step bleaching process that is used to remove color one shade at a time or lighten your hair gradually.

Deep Conditioning Treatment

Deep Conditioning Treatments can add moisture when hydration is lacking and/or revive and soften the most stressed or overworked hair. Also included is a clarifying detox and a blowout.

Deep Conditioning Treatment "XL"

"XL" is simply for those with extensive thickness or length of hair, resulting in additional product use and additional time needed for shampoo/rinse and blowout. (See original deep conditioning treatment for more information.)

Shampoo & Blowout

A blowout is a meticulous method of drying hair to achieve a desired look. Each section of hair is manipulated to get the smoothest and most voluptuous finish possible.

Shampoo & Blowout "XL"

Blowout "XL" is simply for those with extensive thickness or length of hair, resulting in additional product use and additional time needed for shampoo/rinse and blowout. (See original Shampoo/Blowout for more information.)

Malibu Treatment (Clarifying)

A Malibu treatment will remove excess buildup in your hair caused from product, hard water, chlorine from swimming pools and water softeners. (Hard water often contains calcium and iron, which is what makes lighter hair take on a coppery or brassy hue.)

French Braid / Dutch Braid

French Braids or Dutch Braids Pricing: (1) braid: $15. (2) braids: $25. (3) braids: $35. (4) braids: $45.

Thermal Styling (Flat/wand/curl)

Thermal styling: Any service using a hot tool to style or smooth hair. (Examples: Flat Iron, curling iron, wand, crimper, waver, etc.) *PRICING: (10) minutes: $10 .... (30) minutes: $25 .... (45) minutes: $40 .... (60) minutes: $55

Toning (for blondes and highlights)

Toner is a sweet little product that neutralizes brassy yellow and orange tones on bleached hair. When applied to bleached hair, it takes it to more of a natural-looking hair tone! It can also make your hair look shinier and feel healthier.

Balayage

Balayage is a FREE HAND technique where hair color or bleach is painted onto the hair to create a graduated, very sun-kissed, more natural-looking highlight effect. A pre-appointment consultation will be REQUIRED.

Ombre

Ombré is the blending of one color hue to another, usually moving tints and shades from light ends to dark roots. (Not to be confused with balayage, which is a much more intensely blended version of an Ombre, for a more natural or sun-kissed effect.) A pre-appointment consultation will be REQUIRED.

Highlights, Full Head (Virgin)

Hair highlighting/lowlighting is changing a person's hair color, using lightener or hair color to color hair strands.  Highlights can be done in natural or unnatural colors. Highlighted hair will make the hair appear fuller. **(NOTE:) A "virgin application" is highlighting from roots to ends.

Highlights, Partial

Hair highlighting/lowlighting is changing a person's hair color, using lightener or hair color to color hair strands.  Highlights can be done in natural or unnatural colors. **(NOTE:) A "Partial, Virgin application" is highlighting from roots to ends, on the top (mohawk) and front sides of head.

Highlights - Full Mohawk Section

Hair highlighting/lowlighting is changing a person's hair color, using lightener or hair color to color hair strands.  Highlights can be done in natural or unnatural colors. **(NOTE:) Highlighting the Mohawk section consists ONLY of the top center of the head. Process can be a virgin or retouch.

Highlights, 7 Foil Accent

Hair highlighting/lowlighting is changing a person's hair color, using lightener or hair color to color hair strands.  Highlights can be done in natural or unnatural colors. **(NOTE:) Application consists of 7 foils, placed anywhere you'd like to add a "pop of color"!

Money Piece w/ Toner

The money piece is a term used to describe face-framing highlights in balayage that start at the root and continue to the ends of the hair.

Platinum Card / All Over Blonding

A platinum card is a technique foiling every piece of hair to achieve a platinum or all over lighter color without any dimension in between. A platinum card is essentially a modern version of bleach and tones. The difference is that a standard bleach and tone isn't insulated. ($100/hr incl. Toner)
